How fees are calculated
For most services, the fee equals payment volume multiplied by the selected rate. Static Address may also add a fixed fee for each transaction. For Receive, the calculator applies the fee only to the amount above the published 20,000 total-received threshold.
When the merchant pays the fee, the calculator subtracts it from the entered payment volume. When the customer pays, the fee is added to the customer total and merchant receipts stay equal to the entered volume. Actual checkout behavior depends on your payment settings. For a wider cost comparison, use the crypto payment cost-savings calculator to compare card fees, currency-conversion costs, chargebacks, and other operating costs.
OxaPay Fee Calculator FAQ
Is 0.4% the standard rate for every OxaPay service?
No. OxaPay publishes different rates for different services and states that rates may be reduced to 0.4%. The custom-rate field is only for planning and is not a guaranteed quote.
Why does Static Address require an extra input?
Static Address is listed at 2% plus a fixed fee. Because the fixed fee varies by asset and network, enter its value in the selected display currency.
How does the Receive threshold work in this calculator?
The public page states that 1% applies after total received passes 20,000. The tool uses the amount received before this month and estimates only the part above the threshold. Actual billing may differ when the threshold is crossed during the month.
Does the comparison prove cards will cost more?
No. The card result uses the percentage and fixed fee you enter. It does not include chargebacks, cross-border payment costs, currency conversion, monthly fees, or negotiated pricing unless you include them in your inputs.
Are these results final OxaPay pricing?
No. These are planning estimates based on public rates and your inputs. Confirm current rates and any custom terms on the pricing page or with OxaPay support before making a business decision.
