Generative NFT is an NFT whose visual, audio, textual, or structural output is produced wholly or partly by an algorithm using a seed, transaction input, on-chain data, or another defined source of variation. The term describes the creation method, not where the final media or code is stored. A generative collection may be fully on-chain, partly on-chain, or dependent on external hosting and rendering software.
